What are sidelights and top (also known as fan) lights?
Sidelights are also known as side panels that flank one or both sides of your entrance door to accommodate larger openings. Designs with glass are fitted with a range of decorative double glazed designs to allow natural light to enter your property.
A top light is a panel of glass that is fitted at the head of the door and they are often seen in older properties. Top lights allow light to flow into a property whilst keeping the entrance and hallway private.
Do sidelights and top lights let in draughts?
