Colleagues at Bowater Doors are counting up to Christmas, instead of counting down where the site has recorded ‘600 days since last lost-time incident’.
Operations Manager Rob Stonebanks (pictured) said: “A manufacturing environment needs to be a safe environment to work in. This achievement reflects the first-rate health and safety procedures and standards that we have embedded in the business.
“To reach 600 days without a lost-time accident is amazing. It is a credit our employees and their commitment to working safely. I would like to thank everyone for helping us to reach this milestone as we strive for a target of eradicating all lost-time accidents on site.”
